Team Project
This page guides you through the Team Project component of Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives (syllabus 0457).
What is the Team Project?
The Team Project is a collaborative piece of coursework where you work in a small group to research a global issue and produce an outcome that can make a difference at a local level.
Key Requirements:
- Work in a team of 2-4 students
- Choose a global issue linked to the Cambridge themes
- Produce a tangible outcome (poster, video, campaign, presentation…)
- Write an individual reflection on the team process
The Four Stages:
- 🔍 Stage 1 — Identify : choose your issue and research it from multiple perspectives
- 📋 Stage 2 — Plan : decide on your outcome and divide tasks within the team
- 🛠️ Stage 3 — Act : produce your outcome and document the process
- 💭 Stage 4 — Reflect : write your individual reflection on what you learned
Assessment Criteria:
- Research skills
- Collaboration and communication
- Quality of the outcome
- Individual reflection
Tips:
- Document everything — keep evidence of your research and teamwork
- Your reflection must be YOUR own words — no copying from teammates
- Link your local outcome to the global issue clearly
